Automobile Rental
The cost of vehicle insurance, generally called “ Collision Damage Waiver Insurance “ should not be accepted, as the University is self-insured for personal Liability and rental vehicle damage.
Travel insurance
Group travel accident insurance up to $100,000 for each employee is provided while on University business.
Government Discounts
The University of Alaska is a branch of the state of Alaska Government, as such University employees have the right to Government Discounts and tax exemption while Traveling on University business.
