Our Service
We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs for a wide range of commercial and personal insurances. We act as your agent in sourcing a suitable policy, placing the insurance and in the event of a claim.
We offer products from a limited number of insurers for all classes of insurance, except where stated below. These have been selected on the basis of cover, quality of service and other relevant features. You can request details of our list of insurers.

Disclosure
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to insurers when you take out your insurance policy, throughout the life of your policy and when you renew your insurance. Failure to disclose information pertaining to your insurance, or any inaccuracies in information given could result in your insurance policy being invalid or cover not operating fully.
It is important that you ensure all statements you make on proposal forms, claim forms and other documents, are full and accurate. If a form is completed on your behalf, you should check that the answers shown to any questions are true and accurate before signing the document.
You are reminded that it is an offence under the Road Traffic Act to make any false statements or withhold any relevant information to obtain an insurance Certificate.
You are advised to keep copies of any correspondence you send to us direct or to your insurer.
If you are in any doubt about whether information is material, you should disclose it.
Premiums and Financial Aspects
In order to offer you credit facilities, we are registered under the Consumer Credit Act and our Licence Number is 061957.
We normally accept payment by cheque or by various debit/credit cards.
You may be able to spread your payments through insurers’ instalment schemes. We will give you full information about your payment options when we discuss your insurance in detail.
We may keep certain documents, such as your insurance policy documents or Certificate, while we are waiting for full payment of premiums. In these circumstances, we will ensure that you receive full details of your insurance cover and will provide you with any documents that you are required to have by law.
In all cases in accepting your payment we are acting as agents of your insurer. This means that money received by us will be deemed as being received by the insurer.
Charges
We do not make any additional charges for the services we provide. As your insurance intermediary we can earn income in 2 separate ways, we will discuss which applies in your case.
- We can receive a commission payment from the insurance company with which the insurance is placed. This amount will usually be calculated as a percentage of the insurance premium and the percentage will have been contractually agreed with the insurance company. We earn different percentages for different classes of business and from different insurance companies.
- Alternatively we can charge you a fee for our services. Whenever we charge a fee, that amount will be agreed with you in advance and will be disclosed to you separate from the insurance premium. If we have charged you a fee, this information will have been provided to you already alongside details of the premium.
If you are a Commercial customer you are entitled at any time, to request information regarding any commission which we may have received as a result of placing your insurance business.
Claims
When we receive notification of an incident that might give rise to a claim under your policy, we will inform the Insurer without delay and, in any event, within three working days.
We will advise you promptly of Insurers’ requirements concerning claims, including the provision, as soon as possible, of

Customer Protection Information
It is our intention to provide you with a high level of customer service at all times. However, if, at any time, you are dissatisfied with the service we provide, we have a formal Complaints Procedure. You should therefore take the following course of action:-

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may (depending on your circumstances) be entitled to refer it to The Financial Ombudsman Service.
Cancellation policy & “Cancellation rights” period
If you are a retail customer (as defined by the FSA) you have a statutory right to cancel your policy for any reason within 14 days of inception or when you receive your policy documents whichever is later. The insurer will refund your premium subject to their terms and conditions, full details of which are shown in your policy wording.
For all customers, if you wish to cancel the policy outside of the above you may do so and your insurance company may refund some of your premium subject to their terms and conditions, full details of which are shown in your policy wording.
If you wish to cancel your policy, then you will need to return the policy documents and current Certificate of Insurance (if applicable) and confirm your cancellation instructions in writing.
Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
For compulsory classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.

Confidentiality
All personal information about our customers is treated as Private and Confidential.
We will only use information we hold about our customers to provide them with information about other products and services, which we feel may be appropriate to them.
